Hi.  We're Julie & Joe

We are husband and wife team Julie and Joe Comfort.  We are passionate about creating extraordinary images and connecting with
people during this exciting milestone in their lives.  We have an extensive fine arts and graphic design background, and over 10 years
of photography experience.  Among other things, we love travel, swimming pools, game nights, lazy Sundays, and billionaire's bacon.
In 2008, after months of brainstorming, deliberation, and planning, we relocated to Costa Rica with our beautiful daughter, Tully, in
pursuit of inspiration and adventure.  If there's anything else you want to know about us, just ask.

Philosophy

Our approach to wedding photography combines traditional photojournalism with our own creative style.  We deliver a collection of
images that tell the story of your remarkable day with clarity, originality, and most importantly, a commitment to communicating
who you are as individuals.  Even though we may not have the opportunity to meet face-to-face during the planning of your destination
wedding, we want to get to know you, what interests you, what's most important to you, and what makes you and your relationship
unique.  By the time your wedding day arrives we hope you have come to trust us to capture the right moments of your wedding day.

We accept a limited number of commissions each year so that we are able to provide an unparalleled level of service throughout the
destination wedding process; from the planning stage, to the day of your wedding, to the artworking of your final images.  We never
compromise on service or creativity and we treat every client as if you are our only client, dedicating our time and attention to every
detail from pre-planning to post-production.
