I love it when couples decide to do Day After or Trash the Dress sessions (or in this case, a combination of the two). Even though the weather was kind of crappy, we had a good time exploring the area surrounding Playa Chiquita looking for some cool jungle-y spots for cool photos. And since we got to know each other a bit outside the context of the wedding day, Emily + Jeff are now among the few clients who have seen me drive, drink (not at the same time), and hang out with my family. Good times. Thanks, guys, I hope you make it back to CR soon.

The Caribbean coast of Costa Rica is often neglected as a destination for weddings, but it shouldn't be. Emily + Jeff are definitely brave for choosing the wetter side of the country for their wedding, but a little rain couldn't take away from the awesome, laid back atmosphere of Playa Cocles, near Puerto Viejo. Definitely my new favorite destination in Costa Rica.
