a week in new york
Julie Sorry I haven't posted anything in awhile, but I'm sort of on vacation and haven't really been taking many photos. We are in the States until the end of October and have been doing lots of fun stuff, but most recently we just spent a week in New York staying at a friend's apartment while she was away (thanks, Farai!). Here are a few photos from our adventures...
First up, Tully's first zepoli at the Feast of San Gennaro in Little Italy. It was sort of fantastic that this festival happened to be the week were there, as this is something my parents used to take me to every year when I was a kid. It is basically just a lot of delicious and fried food.

Here's us having breakfast at The Smith on 3rd Ave & 11th. I recommend it. The food was yummy and since it was so close to the apartment, we ate there several times.
Then no trip to NYC with a two-year old would be complete without a visit to FAO Schwartz and the big piano. We also stopped by the Disney Store because they used to have the characters in costume there, but I guess they were laid off. No worries, we still had fun.

We also spent an afternoon at the Central Park Zoo:

At Pop Burger:

And here are just a few shots of us hanging around the apartment:

Julie, Your daughter is so precious. She so reminds me of my 3 year old. So beautiful. And your photography is breathtaking. You are a true inspiration to me as a photographer. I didn't think I was interested in shooting weddings but your pictures truly make me rethink my desires. Thank you.
