bahia potrero

OK, before you hate us when you realize these pictures were taken just a five minute walk from our front door, keep in mind that the other night we slept on the pull-out couch because our bed was overtaken by fire ants.  So it all balances out, the bad with the good.  That said, evenings like this, where we ride our bikes to the beach and catch an amazing sunset, totally reinforce why we live here and deal with ants and scorpions and cockroaches and really crappy roads and unreliable internet and at the end of the day (literally) all the hassles of living here and the regular stresses of running a business and a family all melt away and we can sit comfortably in the thought that while it was crazy, bold, and reckless, moving here really was a good idea.

Stunning pictures, Julie. And the new site look is great too.

"...and we can sit comfortably in the thought that while it was crazy, bold, and reckless..."

Well, to paraphrase, history favors the crazy, reckless, and the bold.... verdad?
